I was cleaning the racks out yesterday and took a few random photos as I went. Click on the photos for bigger versions.

Stone doe

Siamesey buck

Argente banded (been in the wars a bit, as you can see!)

Blue banded baby

Stone satin

Cinnamon charlie

They are feeders, but they're also pets and I breed from show stock too as I prefer the type and temperament of them. If I am cleaning them and feeding them I might as well be spending my time with animals I enjoy!

Janine, ivory is the term for a PEW satin, as the satinisation makes the fur seem off-white. Stones are mice you get from breeding two black eyed creams together, they can vary in shade but generally have an even darker cream tone even when not satin.

Normally I'm not a fan of mice... but those are pretty dang cute! They look sweet, not little psychos like the petstore mice, and the huge ears are adorable.

Those are neat! While I don't have many fancies (in fact I've only had one who bloodline now runs through my colony, a black silky...and I'm growing up the great, great granddaughter of my original sire..she's so purty!), why not enjoy your feeder colony and have some fun with genetics? =)

Very cute, especially those ears. Why does the Argente banded have like a hump? Is that just his leg up higher making it look like that or what?

My philosophy too!

B.T.W. love the Stone doe + stone satin & siamese buck.

Viewed some siamese types at Hamm, long coat variety, very nice.
