Moving - Help with snake transportation.

So I just found out today that I will be moving to Colorado( :twoguns: ) in a month or two. Well I've never actually transported snakes before so I have no idea how to do it. The trip will take about 2 days maybe 3, and I have two corn snakes, 1 is about 28 inches, the other about 26. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out here.

I have travelled from Northern Cali to Colorado (15 hours) with my snakes and did not have any problems. I put my bigger snakes in a pillow case, in a box, and the others in deli cups in a box. They do better if in a dark place. Remember, people ship snakes and they do fine for a day in an airplane and a bumpy truck to your door. I dont worry about water unless its more than a day or two of travel. Just give them plenty of time to settle back into their vivs when you get to your new place. Make sure you dont feed them for about a week before you travel.

Where in Colorado you moving to? I live in Fort Collins.

Thanks. I have them both in 20 gal tanks and I was thinking deli cups or small sterilite boxes would be my ideal choice. Also, I'll be moving to Canon City.
