I am moving from Bloomington, Indiana to Knoxville, Tennessee in order to start my new job as an education specialist at the Knoxville Zoo. It is roughly a 6 or 7 hour drive.

That being said, I have to transport my female corn snake and my female Nicaraguan Boa. Does anyone here know how to safely transport snakes for a long car ride? One of the cars does have climate control.

Pillow case them and put them in a ventilated container, separate pillowcase of course. Thats how they're packaged when a breeder ships them so I doubt you'll have any problems. The dark will keep them from stressing out and the container will keep them safe. Feel free to chime in here guys but it makes sense to let them digest their last feed before moving them so they don't regurge.

I just moved from NY to Louisiana, to transport mine I kept each in a seprate sterlite bin, small amount of bedding and some cardboard boxes for them to hide in. Make sure you tape the bins shut! Mine did fine, one even shed on the way in the hotel over night (shh dont tell the staff) and it was a 2 1/2 day drive.
