My 2012 Season begins

It actually began on Saturday with my California king snake. She laid seven eggs, one is questionable..it is white but has a softish spot and wasn't stuck to the rest.

Anyways, my corn snakes started to lay! Well, one, anyway. Here's the pictures! First up is the pairing:

Streak (Anery Stripe het hypo/amel) x Charlie (Ultramel Motley)

And next up is how I found her. I have a video slowly uploading to facebook..but you'd have to be on my friends list to view it. It actually shows her pushing out one of the eggs! She's up to 13 so far with two slugs (from what I can tell) and she's still going. =)

I will keep posting on this thread as my other 3 corn girls start laying - and probably an updated pic once Streak is 100% done with her egg laying.

Two more females dropped for me! Which means I only have one female left, who is in deep blue! Looks like July is gonna be busy busy busy!!

First up:

Tangerine with 10 eggs. Last year she slugged out due to an infertile male.
Amel x Normal male (beginning of a project)

Ticchio with 17 eggs. Last year she laid 15 for her first time. All 15 hatched, though one was kinked and two were runtish. Those particular three didn't make it - but the rest did.

Anery het amel, motley x ultramel motley or a snow (paired with two males. Unsure of who is the father)

Update on eggs and moms:

Streak is doing well. Already feeding her and I think she's going to double clutch (she did last year)..so I'm hoping to get a second project going IF she double clutches. Out of 19 eggs 13 are good.

Ticchio is also doing well with 17 still very healthy eggs.

Tangerine is a fat beast! She is still over 300 grams and gaining her weight back fast so she may double clutch on her own. All ten eggs are doing great.

The Cali king clutch is..okay. 3 out of 7 eggs are good..these three have thick healthy veins.

And now, the last girl has finally laid today! She is the one that several people are waiting to see on the results. She was originally sold as an Ultramel Anery to the woman Ibought her from. When paired with Runninghorsespirit's Relic (hypo lav het anery ph blood), ghosts and hypo's were produced (at least we think)...but, her visual all screams Ultramel Anery.

So, I bred her to Charlie - an Ultramel Motley that I purchased from exar. She is just now laying her eggs (after waiting 2 weeks. Baah. All my girls did the two weeks..)..and I'm not going to remove her yet as I can still see she has some. She has about seven that I know of...some are buried though.

Here is her picture below:
