Here's Hurdle, my '05 amel male, freshly-shed and weighing in at 127 grams. The pictures were taken outside, where it was slightly overcast, so the pictures might be a little dark (even though the natural lighting shows his color a lot better than the crappy lighting in here does).

He does have nice, rich colors. I like that. I have one that's similar, and though she still has a little white, I think she'll make a nice start to a bloodred amel project.
