My baby Mago

Back from the dead
I got my snake today - YAY!!! He is a gorgeous ghost cornsnake whom I've named Mago, which means magician or wizard in spanish. I have fallen in love already, and I've had him for 3 1/2 hours. The guy at the pet store fed him before we left, so I can't hold him until tomorrow, which I can hardly wait for. I will post a picture very soon. Thanx everyone who gave me advice pre-snake. Although my tank is a little barron right now, it has all the snake needs. Soon I plan to add a hide and maybe a rock or two for when shedding comes. You'll see it when I post my pics. Alright, I guess that's it for now. More 2 come. Peace.

Rose

(Proud owner of Mago)

You might want to wait a full three days and nights before you hold him (tough I know) but he will likely be stressed from the move to his new home. That combined with a full belly might make him a little freaked out. Snakes feel vulnerable when their bellies are full.

Remember, you'll have the next 15+ years to hold him... ;)

Cheers,
Jason
