My blue boys

Lt. Dan

So my four boys King Ghidorah, Lt. Dan, Chancellor Palpatine and Captain Morgan have all decided to go into their blue phase at the same time. Needles to say for the past week I've been waiting for at least one of them to shed so I can finally feed and spend some quality time with one. I came home from work tonight and found Lt. Dan had shed and Chancellor Palpatine followed. The Captain and King are still hiding and not wanting to be bothered. Funny how lonely it gets when all your snakes go blue around the same time. Not sure if anyone else had their snakes go into shed cycle at the same time?!
1st for me.

I have four now, and it always seems like at least one of them is in blue, or ate recently, or just isn't in the mood to cuddle with me.

I think we need more snakes ;)

Thanks yoopergal, I'm really forcing myself not to get more Amanda. I have a friend that may offer me one soon. Such an obsession.

with only two and one being a baby still yeah.. they end up having to digest on the same day sometimes
lol it does get lonley.. :(

Captain Morgan omg! xD
Great name!
I have to name one of my pets Captain Morgan one day, there's a pretty funny story around that name in my house...
I'll just say that Captain Morgan whooped my dad one day.

Anyhow, Riddle and Jester I usually feed on the same day and Dovah I feed 2 days later. Sometimes I forget to feed Riddle and Jester and feed them on the same day as Dovah and I get really lonely ._.

Thank goodness they always seem to shed at different times. Riddle is almost in blue right now actually!

Thanks Kat_Dog, I love coming up with unique names, once had a German Shepherd named "Whisky" so Captain Morgan is in a strange way a tribute and also my fave for Rum n coke( my adult drink of choice). I've got a huge list of names but no snakes to give them too lol. Really looking forward to the Cap shedding.

I have 7.

I was asked to bring my snakes to a very small private school to show/talk about them. I was like, sure, no problem, I'll bring a few.

On that day, the 4 corns were ALL blue. I didn't want to bring the Cal king babies, and my Pueblan can be unpredictable (not bitey, just very quick at times). I did end up bringing the corns, but they spent most of their time in little bins with aspen. Crazy that you can have that many snakes and not really have a good choice to bring that day. And of course Lucifer (my extreme Okeetee) shed a few days later, looking so gorgeous ... when I brought him he was so dark! I told them we could come back in a year and they would all be bigger and prettier.

I have 4 now and I can relate. I awoke this morning to a shed from Kenna and I do believe my Lucy and Ramses are next. I feed two on Tuesday and two on Thursday. Best of luck there and hope you get some time to play with them soon

I would've loved seeing snakes when I was a kid in school. I enjoy taking King down to petco every once in a while and shocking and educating moms and kids on how beautiful and docile snakes can be. Lately Kings been unpredictable so I no longer take him around kids since they can be more restless than my snakes. I have to wait til my corns grow more before exposing them to grabby youngsters. It's a treat seeing their faces light up more than when they see a puppy lol.
