He is probably just well hidden somewhere in his room. Make sure you look in high places can corns are good climbers.

Also, do a search on here. You will find many methods, such as traps, to catch your snake.

Hope you find your snake :0( Look everywhere..even if you think it's to small or to high for a snake to get to..check every dark area of the house and every warm spot..

I have found that when a snake escape it usually looks for dark. I have had many escape and when I had to catch them I put a small box with a hole in in over a heating pad with a small water dish in it and turn out the lights. Check it often.

LOL I KNOW where my guys (and girls) go when they escape, In back of the records. It is the coldest part of the house (go figure) but 99% of the time that is where they are. I think it is because it is so much like a tunnel for them.

1 - strew meal in every corner of every room. snakes will move always along the wall. so you know where it has moved when the meal is scattered. maybe you can see the direction where it has moved. you can exclude some rooms additionally.

2 - close all doors, everytime, so that the snake couldn´t remove out of the room where it is present.

3 - post some dishes and lay mice on it with head cutes. you will also know in which room your snake is moving. apart from that the snake will eat something and would get some fluid. (somebody would say only a hungry snake is moving, so if it has ate the corns wouldn´t move very much. I also agree to this, but I prefer the first way.)

4 - I set the alarm every night at 3 o´clock and checked out the mice and "meal-corners" if something changed

don´t panic, I was around with nearly 10 snakes which escaped. I found all of them. one was at the top of a bottle of wine at my worktop in my kitchen. I have no idea how it climbed up here. :shrugs:

GOOD LUCK

Thank you everyone i will try all these and i hope it works.... I have casper for almost two years now and would really love to find him..

thank you your advice great appreciated

Sorry to hear that :(

Another thing I would try is put a row of flour in the door ways and around the rooms and you'll see a direction it went it should it cross over them.

Good luck finding him and keep us posted :)

Thank you

It has been three days and he finally came out and decided to try to climb into my dry cleaning bag with all my cloths.. He is now home in his cage with extra precautions. SO thank you everyone for the advice and congratulations on a great website for information.
