my corn snakes acting crazy

hello everyone

i was wondering i have a snow corn and hes started acting crazy today. every other day i could pick him up and he was fine but today i tryed and he struck at me whats wrong with him. can some one let me know whats wrong please thank you
 
I have a snow, and I could not tell he was blue till he shed.


My guess is that hes blue and is having trouble seeing so hes acting very defensively. Leave him alone till he sheds.

also he shakes his tail real fast sounds like a rattlesnake. so thats caused from him sheding thanks what colors does your snow have
 
Yeah tail rattling is normal. He just cant see well, I would guess. Mine is white and yellow.

mine is about 3 and a half feet hes white with pink spots on his back with yellow lining and his belly is yellow.

Or that you just startled him. Snakes don't always act predictably.

He could well be shedding, but don't worry if he doesn't shed just yet. Even the most docile snake in the world can have an "off" day.
