can someone please help! i have a seven month old snake but he is refusing to feed at the moment. he has never refused his meal before(fuzzies) any help will be much appreciated

Check your temps and such. Is there a change in anything??? Stress in one factor in the problem. Also what is your feeding routine??

Hi Wayne

My suggestions would be the following

Try feeding it a smaller meal,if you are feeding fuzzies, maybe try andgo back to pinks...
Your Snake could be having some issues with temperature - Try and get it to about 28 Degrees celcius..maybe your critter would eat then!

Try braining the pink/Fuzzy (this basically involves puncturing the skull of the dead rodent and squeezing out a bit of the brain/blood-This smell is irresitable to snakes. This usually gets them eating again. :wavey:

thank you for your advice, im proper worried that something is wrong with him, will let you know if i can get him to eat (he usually eats 2 fuzzies per week)

No problem Wayne
Thats why these forums are here, that we can all come together and give advice and tips.In the end its our critters that get the best.Thats all that matters - That they get the best

Good Luck & Keep me update as to the eating. If not we try some other things that could work. :wavey:

thanks

i think the reason he wasnt eating was he was about to shed. anyway he has now sheaded and is eating normally again , panic over
