My father is being a pain.

Where did I go wrong?:shrugs: I've got a 32 year old daughter still at home. Sometimes think I need to build an apartment in the basement for myself. She's a terrific girl ! But sometimes you just like to be alone with your wife & the hot tub.:) I'm not one for clothes in the hot tub.:eek:

Cleveland is a nice place, any large city has bad areas. So do small towns.
I think your dad will come around. They may find out they like the privacy at times. Best of luck to you!:cheers:

I wish much luck and happiness to you! I'm sure your father will come around you truely sound like you have thought about this and if your mom supports you then she must have faith in you that you will be okay..It was hard for me to leave my mom and move to NJ with my b/f...With me and my family it was the opposite..My dad didn't have much complaints but my mom really wanted me to stay..not because she didn't believe in me..but because she knew we wouldn't see that much of each other and it hurt her immensly to let go..but she did...I do try and see her every chance I get..but it's still only every 6 months or so...But don't worry..Things always find ways of working out in the end...Your dad believes in you...Even if his stubbornness doesn't show it..:0)
