my first corn!!! when should i feed?

I agree with the others...hands off for 48 hours, and then enjoy your snake. Handle a couple of long periods, or a few shorter periods. I usually handle mine in between and just before feeding time. I feed them inside their vivs in containers. Both seem to know that going back in means "dinner time!" Little ones tend to be a little uppity, striking frequently until they get used to your scent. My gal-pal's Snakespeare and my Takala are the same age; Takala is a perfect little lady, and will cuddle right down. Snakespeare is more temperamental. He tends to strike occasionally and be moody.
