Very cute!! Now make sure you put plenty of hides in for that little one so he/she doesn't become stressed.

Thanks :)
He seemd like such a little guy for an entire 20 gallon tank, so I grouped all his hides and water and plant on one side... I guess he(she?) was feeling adventurous :p

very nice snake. your snake will look something like this as an adult.......

the colours on normals is fantastic. the variation of the dark brown colours is amazing, my girl also has some yellows on her neck.

Great snake, youv got this to look forward to with yours :santa:

Awesome :)
He's so cute, If I spent as much time I want to, he'd probably die of stress :p

A question about feeding, since corns are nocturnal, should I feed Hunter at night? Or at least when its dark, like late in the evening

I usually feed ours in around 8pm. They're a little more active then. Make sure to give him hides on both the cool and warm sides of the tank. I wouldn't group them all together on one side.

honestly mate i really dont think what time you feed your snake makes that much of a difference. Im sure that someone will let you know other wise if it is, but i have always fed my snakes in the afternoon. never at night.
No major reasons for this except i dont handle my snakes at night anyway (usually) because thats when there usually most active and alert so geting them out the tank is a struggle.

Last night I saw him all over the tank, so I moved his hollow log to one side.
Next time i'll feed him during the afternoon and see if it makes a difference. Is it recommended to feed in a separate container? I thought i'd just drop the mouse in :)

Yayy
Hunter ate his first (for me) pinkie mouse :D
I didnt see it though.. had to leave for 15 min, when I checked back, it was gone and Hunter back in his little house

great snake...i like the normals too ...but then i love all corn snakes!!!! corns are so easy to take care of...yuo can feed them anytime you have time ...i feed mine in the morning/afternoon...even somtime4sw in the evening when i m too busy to do it earlier. my corns are most active during the day sleep all night ...dont think the are consired nocturnal???

i never feed in thier house that way they dont associate coming out w/ eating ...& yuor hand as food....as soon as they go in thier feeding bin they know it is time to eat...the rest of the times are play time
