My First Pippies!!!!

I had no breeding-plans with my own corns since they are to young, but I had to take care of a couple of corns and one of their offspring for someone else (vacation).

And the female laid a nice clutch of eggs; at least 23 as I counted. Since the owner had no plans with the eggs I could have the eggs; nice, to get some experience before I breed with my own corns :)

And yesterday they started pippin!

All normals; the dad is a huge normal corn, and the female is quite big to and has some miami-like colouration.

The video is a great way to show people, who have never seen snakes hatch, what it looks like. Your babies are looking good. It makes me anxious for mine to hatch in about 1 1/2 weeks.

15 babies hatched; 2 don't want to come out yet, 1 egg is still closed, and I cannot see if there are any eggs left on bottom of the clutch.
