My huge viv plan.

Pet Corn Snake

Well, I was thinking, I could possible split my huge viv into two vivs, for both Sabrina and Damien

here is the picture, do you think if it did it, there woule be problems with the snakes? like smelling each other, neaither have a confirmed sex, they could both me males or both femails for all i know..

lolok.jpg

it's 4ft long, 3ft high, 2ft deep

The main thing I noticed was that I can't see air vents at the base of the viv, only at the top. What would air flow be like in the bottom section?

Also bearing in mind that with one set of doors, opening one viv would require you to open both at the same time - could be awkward if the snake you don't want is out and about, for example. :shrugs:

theres a line covering the air vents on the bottom lol, its the same vents on both the front bottom and the top back,

yea I thought about the fact I have to open both doors, only really Damien comes out when I open his viv lol, Sabrina always sleeps unless its night,

it just seems a good way about doing things, that way when molly is big enough she can have Damiens 3ft viv, its just a easy way to make more space and keep the snakes happy too,

is it possible do you think?

I see no real issue with it George, it's just your convenience that may be compromised.

Is the 3ft viv intended for Molly's lifespan? If we're talking lifespan vivs here, I'd be inclned to give Molly one of the 4ft vivs. I had my male royal in a 3ft and felt he outgrew it. Bearing in mind that females generally get bigger, too. Some will say royals are just fine in a 3ft; I can't agree, but that is only my personal pref and maybe Chester is bigger than the average. :shrugs: It's worth considering, though. I intended the 3ft for his lifespan, but I eventually became uncomfortable with it.

I doubt it. I had Connor's viv stacked directly atop Chester's for some time with no issues. To be honest if they are in the same room they can probably smell each other already.
