My Modest Snake Collection!

Carinata

Ever Evolving Exotics
I was moving in a couple 41qt snake rack last night and figured I'd take some quick pictures of my whole snake collection, as I know some people have been bugging me to post it. Disclaimer-excuse any poop on the sides of the tubs, it's a Ratsnake thing.......

First up, is my 2010 Female Richmond Co. NC, Chain King from Shane and Ssuperior Sserpents

Next is my 2007 Male Taiwan Beauty Snake from Bill at Great Valley Serpentarium (the place has since changed owners. This guys is packing over 7 foot! I had to put him in a smaller tub to get him to calm down long enough to grab a snap shot!

Next is Jasmine my 2008 Female King Ratsnake 66% poss. het T- Albino. She came from Amy Zerkle of Zerkle Reptiles. Jasmine is around 7 foot as well and still growing. She's very easy to handle and makes regular appearances when friends are over.

Then there's my 2006 Male Sunglow Cornsnake. He was a Petco find but was my first exposure to Cornsnakes!

Then there's my 2010 Male Vietnamese Blue Beauty Snake. He was small when I got him in trade from a local client, but has grown very well, it's hard to tell in the picture but he's over 5 foot long, but very slender and mean as hell!

I think the King Rat is especially cool!
I looked up Elaphe carinata, the species sounds very interesting! Yours certainly looks beautiful - they all do! :)
So is the appellation "stinking Goddess" deserved, or what? It seems there is some rap about some kings and rats being a more likely to doing something yucky on you. Have you found this to be true, or am I reading the wrong stuff?
Thanks.

King Ratsnakes are my favorite snake. They're intelligent, grow masive, and are pure muscle. They will muisk, it will stink, but if you get a captive bred animal, they're usually very tame. They are rewarding pets if you're experienced enough to deal with a large snake.

Here's my 2011 Male Silver Phase Madagascar Cat-eyed Snake from Tom Bailey. These little rear-fanged guys are neat!

Here's my 2011 Female Olive Phase Madagascar Cat-Eyed Snake from Tom Bailey.

Here's my WC 2007 Male Shenandoah Co. VA Black Ratsnake. He's over 7 foot. Love this snake!

Here's my WC 2009 Female Fairfax Co. VA Black Ratsnake. She's exceptionally dark, and absolutely beautiful.

And my latest addition, WC Yearling (2011?) Unsexed Javan Locality Red-Tailed Green Ratsnake.

Yes I do Janine. I was actually looking at him last night and I remembered how much you liked him!

If I ever get another snake, it'll be a Stinking Goddess. Not that I have any plans at all to expand, I'm trying to keep the collection minimal for now.........

How big is Jasmine now? I must get the boys to help me measure my Deckerts, Mr Bonney, he seems to be as long as I'm tall now and it's amazing how strong even a slender snake is when it doesn't want to cooperate!

Jasmine's around 7 foot long and eats either 2 XXL mice and a chick a week or just a medium-large rat. Hoping to get her in a display cage shortly, but the Taiwan's over 7 foot now so he got first priority. And I just bought a $700 group of geckos so finances are a little tight LOL!
