I don't mean to show you up or anything, but your car is nothing compared to my ride.

This is me and the neighbors out cruising at Indy last summer.

Nice 'Stang !

But who sits in the trunk by the speakers ???? (I just don't get the speakers in the trunk thing) :shrugs:

The speakers in the boot (or 'trunk' to you yanks ;) ) are subs so actually benefit from being enclosed. They are for bass depth so don't need to be exposed inside the cabin in the same way that midranges and tweeters do.

At least I think thats how it works anyway.

The 'stang is nice, not my cup of tea as far as the type of car I would own goes but I can still appreciate a nice car when I see one.

You might want to have a look at this thread ....

:)

I agree it's a boot (I'm an aussie transplant) but I said trunk so most here would understand (they talk funny here) lol. :sidestep:

If I needed my music that loud ..... I'd get a hearing aid first.

('scuse me, I've had a lil' too much coffee already)

I am a "pick-up" type person myself, but do agree that is a nice job.

That is my ABSOLUTE favorite car....If I could get a Mustang though it would be the new 2005's, they are amazing looking. (that is of course if I couldn't have an older muscle car restored) I like to drive too fast though, at least that is what I hear, so I would probably end up wrapping it around a tree somwhere. Everyone in my family tells me I am not allowed to get a "fast" car!!! (in the past I have gotten alot of speeding tickets) LOL :)

My first car was a '65 Mustang. It's one of the only models I would own again, but I do anjoy auto eye candy once in awhile. Nice car.

Sweet! Here's mine...

Nope, just a lil ol GT with a bunch of goodies :)

all three of those were nice mustangs... I'm not particulary a Ford guy, or even a car guy... but I as someone else stated before can appreciate a nice ride when I see one... Here's a couple of my truck....

Well ohh boy what i have i done to the stang..
well it started out as a six banger so here you go

1) 4.6 32 cobra motor
2) t-56 dodge viper tranny 6 speed
3)9 inch ford rear end
4) vortech supercharger
5)100 shot of n2o
6) fully ported and polished motor
7)long tube header
8)no cats x pipe
9) borla exhaust
10) diablo hellfire racing chip
11) the entire suspension is done by kenny brown
12) carbon fiber drive shaft "this may break "
13) 13 inch front and rear disc brakes
14) rear seat delet kit
15) G.P.S
16) hell lotta stero stuff
and that may be it i think.... The car is still in the shop :( :( almost ready to come out soon htough :) total cost of the mustang encluding the price i paid for it about 40,000-45,000 total

The car would probally run a 13 in the 1/4m mile i have the car geared up really high so that i can race it on tracks not strips.. should top out though over 200mph
