My NARBC pick-ups!

cohazard

corn snake noob!
I had a blast at the anaheim show, so many cool herps to see, and joking around with my friend, it was good times!

I didn't find a fire stripe corn, and I did find a blizzard, but I decided to wait till next year and hopefully I can get both at the same time :)

The good news is that I found the other two snakes on my list, and two absolutely beautiful leopard geckos!

They are all snug in their new homes and I'll be giving them a week to settle in before I try handling them.

The geckos chowed down on some dusted crickets today, they looked like they were having fun stalking the little crickets :)

I got the geckos from Kyle Frost; really cool guy who has worked on his hypo tangerine line for 3 years I believe he said.

I can't tell you how happy I am with my reptiles!

Thank you Thunderer! I guess I really jumped into the whole reptile hobby haha I've only been keeping reptiles for a month!

Don't be envious, find one at a local show and enjoy haha when I took the little MBK out of the tub to put her in her viv, she was super flighty! They are fast! Can't wait to handle her more :)

I couldn't be happier with the leos! I got such a great price on them, and they are just so beautiful, can't wait to see how they progress.

I have to go think up names now haha

Cool, thank you Putty :)

I've read that more contrast is desirable, but I prefer the look of a blushing pastel. He is brave and easy going, I took handled him for a bit at the show and he didn't curl into a ball, he was active and calm :)

Desirable or not - it's always what you think is nice, you bought it for yourself not someone else lol. He looks almost like my own little boy and he isnt shy either. Meanwhile my little girl is always rolled up when shes being handled. Looking forward to seeing him grow up!

Very true, I agree wholeheartedly. I looked into your threads and saw the pics of your pastel... wow! very gorgeous!

I'm going to keep updating as they progress, I have to take pics of them in my hand haha

Excellent pick ups! Congrats!

Thanks! I've got the two leo females setup in the 40g, and I'm keeping the snakes in sterilite bins. 28qt for now, and once they have more size on them, especially the MBK, I'll upgrade them to 105qts, which is almost a 40g :D
