My new snake won't eat he just comes close to the mice then sods off he looked interested the ed off and is hiding right now what do I do
 
How long have you had him? They usually benefit from a week or more of being left alone to adjust and de-stress. It would also help if you could tell us how your enclosure is set up, hides (how many and where) what type of heat, temps (warm end and cool end). Also, I assume you're feeding frozen/thawed; if not, do not leave a rodent in the tank with your snake.
