Your set up looks good to me!

Just thought I'd add my thoughts..Your tanks look really good.Like it!How old are your corns?Mine are hatchlings and I was advised to keep them in a small shoe box size container but I would love to put them in thier vivs but was advised by the chap that gave them to me not to let them in thier vivs for a few months. If your snakies are eating nicely then I can't see any problem for them.I wish I could get aspen,it looks comfortable for them, all I can get is beech chip, orchid bark,or that coconut stuff that you have to soak. Are you planning on removing them to a separate box for feeding? This will stop any snakies eating substrae while snacking on thier food..I do this and providing the snake is happy to be fed this way then you don't have to worry about blockages etc..What size food are they on,out of interest? Are you feeding live or f/t? Welcome to the forums, btw,I only joined a month ago and I've found out so much here, just doing what you've been, glued to the computer every spare minute!Enjoy!Cheers!V :)

Welcome to the forums!

Where are you at in Hollywood???? I was born and raised in Hollywood, lived there 28 yrs til I moved to NC, still miss it. So cool to see someone on the forums from home! And where did you get your corns? Isn't there a guy in Hollywood that breeds them? I saw an ad of his on Kingsnake.com.

Your vivs look like a good basic setup for hatchlings. Hides on both the warm and cool side, aspen, water dish. Have you checked your temps on both sides? Mid 70's cool side, mid 80's warm side. The only thing you might want to do is put a little more distance between the bottom of your viv and the carpet to dissipate the heat from the UTH. Being that close to the carpet might cause a fire hazard.

Nice looking little guys, have fun, and rest assured they wont be your last LOL. We're all addicted here, one turns into three, three turns into 12, etc. etc. :wavey:

Thank you both for the greetings.... In response to your question JTGoff69 I live close behind Hollywood Hills High School. I bought the snakes from my friend that owns Animal Mania off Davie blvd/sr 7 not too sure if you remember that place, but its an awesome store. Both the snakes came from the Daytona show though cause that’s where they bought all there corns at... So what about this guy that breeds corns in Hollywood???!!!!! Do you know how I could get in contact with him???? Wow that would be great I would much rather buy snakes from him I’m sure they are cheaper and possibly better snakes....Well I love my two... The okeetee was feed yesterday with a live pinkie, but my amel refused to eat his or her pinkie. My guess is the stress i bought him/her a week ago on today and have most likely played with him/her too much over the week. I'm going to let them both chill in the cage with out playing with them for a week and we shall see if he/she eats next wed's.. My okeetee in the other hands is a mean little guy. Every time i put my hand in the cage he strikes me, but I like that I think that’s a good sign. I'm sure over time he/she will become more tame and calm with proper handling...
