Just got back from the Maryland reptile show. While there my friend picked me out a normal little Kenyan Sand Boa. Here are some pictures of him/her:

Very nice! I saw two adults at PetCo the other day, they arent big snakes but bigger than I thought that they got. I love the color on yours, very vibrant!

I love it! I think that I lucked out and actually have a male and female. They came from two different pet stores (same company) at the same time, so I'm guessing they are from the same person. They are the same age, eating great, and one is about twice the size of the other, like females should be.

Oooh, what actually got me into wanting to have a snake was meeting/touching an Egyptian sand boa earlier this year...but, as I'm a complete neophyte to the world of reptiles (just this summer, I got my first 0.2 leopard geckos and now 0.0.1 amels), two herpetologists recommended that I start with a corn snake, especially since I want to bring it into my classroom. :) Your Kenyan is pretty & tiny! :) Have fun! :)

Very darling Sand Boa. I love the bright color. I better not let my son see it, as his favorite color is orange. :D
