She also hasn't been eating as much as she used to.

Wow Simon, Kathy Love has some of those and I've been admiring them for a while. That 'horn' is bizzarre! Are they hard to keep(housing/feeding/establishing/breeding, etc)?

Fat or "phat"? I've never seen one of those before! What's the horn (is that what it's called?) used for? What a neat looking snake!

I've loved those since I saw one on Kathy's site, I also am curious what the 'horn' is for, is it just a useless mutation or does it serve some purpose? I can see why theyr'e your pride!

LOL!
I was actually over at Kathy's place back in 2001 and I saw those and absolutely fell in love with them. So once I came back to Canada after visiting her, I had to get myself a coupel of them. I used to have 3.3 of them as hatchlings in 2002, but then one died after not really feeding properly for 8 months but the other 2.3 survived. So currently I have 2.3 adults.

That horn? Well to be honest it serves no use. Not that I know of.....its like an extra 'meat' I personally think that since they're green, they should be snakes that lived up on trees so I am thinking that the 'horn' is a camoflage thing, pretending to be a leaf or something like that.

Housing: They don't need a too large of a tank since they get about 3 feet in length only. So its not that bad, a regular corn snake housing would be good enough.

Feeding: This is the tricky part. As hatchlings, they usually feed on fish (guppies) and once they become a little older you can try live scenting a pinky and then later on to f/t. It took me about 1.5 years to switch them from guppies to f/t mice.

Actually if you have any other information that you would like to know, email me at [email protected] and I'll get into it more~~
