My Reptile Care Sheet - EXCEL SHEET to share

It's not complex in any way, but this is an excel sheet I decided to start when my collection grew to a number larger than 3.

WITH MY RECORDS IN IT: (for example of entry formatting)
HERE

WITHOUT my RECORDS/CLEAN SHEET FOR YOU TO USE:
HERE

Note, if you click on the little tab at the bottom you'll see how I kept track of my two clutches I had last summer. This sheet will probably not be any good for the pros with hundreds of snakes but it works for me and my collection of 12...

Hope it helps

I seem to do better with colors. I set up my records in excel as well, but use color to denote events.
Red = ate...
(if I want to keep track of what they ate, I type it in the square...rp=rat pink, m=mouse, etc.)
Black = regurg
Blue = in shed
Purple = shed date
Royal Blue = breeding dates for adults/hatching dates for juvies
Grey = Time before I got them or after I sold them
In other sheets, there are colors/patterns for eggs incubating, expected due dates etc.

Here's part of a sheet from January (if I put the whole thing on here, you can't read it. ;) )

Here's part of the sheets for 2004 hatchlings showing the first 2 clutches worth of hatchlings. The blanks at the ends of the ID numbers are for M or F when known.

I just write in my sheet every time. I find it easier to just jot down the info instead of taking the time to enter it into the computer. The picture attached is smaller than the actual form I use.

I simply enter codes similar to homer's and also the date. It's a very simple form and I can send it out with any of the snakes I sell so that the new owner has the complete history.

yeah mine's not pretty but one of these day's I'm going to graph out the growth, eating and shed patterns of all my 03's. I think it would be really neat to see, month by month the rate of shedding.

I wish I'd kept track of length.

Mine's not pretty but it get's the job done...

I just have a simple note pad and I keep a running record on both the snakes. When purchased, where, and how long they were when I got them and their hatching date if known. I list when I fed, what time and how much, whether they ate quickly and whether they constrict or not. Periodically I remeasure to see how much they've grown, and I also list blue phase (if I see it) and when they shed. It's been interesting looking back and seeing how much they've grown and how fast.
