I know I should put this under Feeding Problems but most people look at this catorgary (excuse spelling). But my snake ate a repti-bark shaving. It is twice as big as his eye. i was Wondering, could it hurt the snake?,What should I do?

How big is the snake? I'm curious as to why he ate it, was it stuck to his mouse? I know we're supposed to avoid snakes ingesting non organic substances, but repti bark is organic and thus may be digestible, not sure. I'm sure somebody has a better answer.
 
Same happened to me once before... dont know how but got stuck to a mouse. Ate it... and i had no problems, probably got digested with the mouse.. hope this helps :)
 
How's you "bark eating" snake? I hope he's showing signs of good digestion, i.e. no visible mouse bump after 48 hours or so. If the bark was really bothering him I'd guess it'd cause a regurg. I'm thinking that these guys in the wild would be much more likely than we'd think to swallow a bit of bark or leaf when catching and constricting and eating their own prey. When I've watched my 2002 hatching constrict a f/t pinkie there's no way he'll let go to check it for anything sticking to it before he swallows it as quickly as he can.
