i had him for about a month and a have and he never tryed to bite now he is trying to? whats wrong with him? what should i do?>
 
Whats his feeding scheduale like? Have there been any changes in his cage or anything? When was the last time he shed? How often do you handle it? Snakes dont suddenly go mean for no reason, usually its a fear or hunger responce.
 
has it shed yet, or is it in the blue phase, sometimes they get snappy and jerky while in the shed prccess and most time i dont notice my amel in shed, but usualy they apear dull and snappy, atleast mine do
 
no nothing changed just that when i opened the cage he was on the edge near the top and he fell when he was sleeping maybe i pissed him off?
 
Was it only this one time it happened? You probably just scared it, or its hungry.
 
If your snake fell and then got snappy I'd say he was just scared and it's nothing to worry about. In fact, even if he keeps it up it's probably nothing to worry about . . . 16" is still very small and he will likely be nervous and defensive at times, just cause he's a baby snake. My psycho snake has been very nice lately - she is probably past 20" now and I've had her 3 months now and she is seeming to settle down, tho I never know when she'll decide to tag me. There's no real malice in it, just now and again she freaks. I have 3 others who don't act like that at all, so they really do just have different personalities. Good luck w/that, I hope it was a one time thing, but even if it's not, don't worry. Oh, but don't let him get away with that, even if he's snappy you should go ahead and pick him up and hold him until he settles down, you don't want him to think he can intimidate you. :twoguns: LOL
