when you get to watch the process. my hatchling did it the other night while i was sound asleep, but i have caught norbert in the middle of a shed a few times in the past.

With one of my snakes, I think I witnessed 3 sheds in a row and I often seem to see them just as they're starting to rub theire faces all over the viv to try to catch up that first bit of skin. I'd say I see 20-25% of their sheds in progress- and no I don't just sit in front of the terrariums my whole day-I do have a life...and a job!!!! I especially love it when they oblige and do it when we have guests!
