so i just made my rheostat.. works great.. i also got a thermometer.. i got the warm side to a nice 84F... then i go to the cool side and it drops down to a 68... how can i get the cool side warmer without getting the hot side too hot???
raise the heat in your house a little bit if you control the heat..If not..you cold always try a heat emitter bulb but keep it a distance away from the top of the cool side..so the cool side will stay in the 70's..
I'm not sure..the point of the cool side is for the natural temp of the room to keep it at a good temp..I'm not sure if insulating the bottom would do anything..:shrugs:
ok.. i set my house heat on so it stays at 72F.. hopefully with that it will keep the col side around that temp and ill turn down the heating pad.. ill update later see how that works.. thanks for all the help guys
