I fed my baby cornsnake last night at 8:00. I woke up this morning to find that the mouse was not where I left it. I lifted everything up, checked the whole tank, and found no mouse, so I am pretty sure he ate it.
However...
It is now 6:30 pm the next day...that's more than 20 hours later...shouldn't I see somewhat of a little bulge in my snake? I don't. He looks the same.
Could he have digested it fast enough that there would be no buldge? Is 20 hours long enough for a baby to completely digest it's meal?
Thanks.
