OMG lol...Straberry Bunny! My brothe named his Okeetee Schnugles!!! aka snuggles with a cute sound to it lol!
 
I tend to give my critters names either based on their personality or their looks. I named my snake Flash because from the beginning, he has always been really quick, he disappears into hides in a flash, hehe. It was basically the first thing I noticed about him and the word "flash" popped into my head and then it just stuck.

Here's an idea, think of something you're into and try to come up with names from that. For example, I'm really into Star Trek so before my first snake arrived, I thought up and looked up a bunch of Star Trek names. So you could possibly get names from some show or series you're really into.
 
I'm more of a gamer, and the only gaming reptile I know of is gex, but thats a lizard and plus my friends gecko is named that.
 
I can't really imagine asking someone else to name my snakes for me. I mean, there are only 100 zillion human names, male, female, and unisex. You can't think of a character in a show, film, or book that you like? There are at least as many snake-appropriate nouns, adjectives, etc. as well: striker, speedy, flash, racer, etc..
 
The second one I just realized in gaming is rez, but thats a robotic lizard (lolwut)

Hmm, kraid or ridley sound good, primarily ridley.

I actually like a name that you already came up with: Ridley. I love the Metroid series, and Ridley's cooler than Kraid.
