I name is real simple. I am fat and a man. The 608 is my weight. Only kidding there. It was a radio number for work. The fatman really came from a old TV detective show with William Cannon. People in the show would say here comes the "fatman". And, I named all my snakes after old TV characters.

Mine's Die-uh-nith-ick-us. It's based on Dionysus, the Greek God of wine, revelry and orgies. My friend and I are writers and in a story she set in ancient Greece our characters needed appropriate names, so I became Dionythicus. I'm the only one out there, too, so if you see it, it's probably me.

I'm really Kathy. And Tyger, my best friend is a Kirsten and she's heard it all, too.

Well, they already have control of Art. Almost every one of my friends that is an artist of some sort (drawing, painting, music) is a lefty. That is why my rant was so funny. I was directing it at them :grin01:

Just for the record (since I can put this on record now), my name is NOT from the Simpsons. No offense to Homer and his favorite brew, but there's no tv show I like that much. I got the idea from Duff McKagan of G'N'R fame, and just liked the sound of it. Been using it wherever possible for awhile now.

Back in the olden days (1994-1995) I was on a couple of local BBS systems and had the user name "Snakeeyes" (and everyone just called me "snake") but when I started going on the internet there were about a bazillion people using the name snake or snakeeyes or snakeyes (snake yes?) so I had to come up with something more unique. That and I got way too many people asking me if I was a big GI Joe fan or a gambler.

I wanted something that was snakey-sounding (serpentine) and that also described all the various things I was working on at the time plus anything new I might get involved in: custom levels and mods for Doom][, Duke3d, Quake, Quake2 and Unreal Tournament, 3-d rendering projects, an online chess tutorial, a couple of songs, many different types of software including a PacMan editor and a video game, corn hatchlings, and now the morph guide and the registry. I figured "widgets" would cover anything I was working on as well as anything else I come up with. I first used with "serpwidgets" when I signed up for my HoTMaiL account (wow that was like ten years ago!) and I've been using it ever since.

anyway... i came up with my name, snakers2486, because i always call my snake (or any snake in general) snakey or snakers as a nickname... and my numbers dont really have a meaning... i like the number 24 i suppose and my birth year is 86...

so yeah, thats my name... not quite as interesting as some of the rest of you! lol

I don't even notice to tell you the truth, my maiden name was Hoffmann with 2 "n's" & it was like asking people to do rocket science to put that extra "n" on there if it looks like my name & sounds like it I answer to it

It's actually a traditional Finnish name, but my mom screwed with the spelling so people could pronounce it. I't supposed to be spelled Priiti
