NARBC: Arlington Expo Photos! (DUW)

Howdy!

My friends and I visited the NARBC show that took place in Arlington today and found it to be an awesome experience! There was so much to see, it was actually quite overwhelming, but still loads of fun. I wish my pockets were deeper and my house larger, because I would have come back with many more animals than just the two I picked up. Anyways! When I wasn't too busy drooling over this and that, I snapped a few pictures. Frogs were abound, so there's quite a few pictures of them. :bird:

(Very much looking forward to the NARBC: Houston show in October!!!)

Thanks for looking!

I went to the show too, with the girl who sold me my first and second corns. She got a couple of Honduran milksnakes from Don Soderburg and another snake from someone else - I forget what it was. I intended to buy one or two corns, and wound up with three - a candy cane (my 9-yr-old daughter fell in love with him) and a striped hypo from Don S., and then a ghost from Bayou Reptiles. 0-to-6 in two months... Good grief... This was my first reptile show - it was a blast! My daughter loved meeting Nigel Marven!

I agree....those pictures are splendid!!! They are so crisp and clear, my expo ones always end up like blurry messes with major light reflectance.

Looks like there were some beautiful animals there too....I love the dumpy frog and hypo BRB!

Jessica, those photos are amazing! Did you meet Kathy and Terri??

Thank you, Lori! And I don't believe Kathy was there...? Bill was there however, but the one or two times we were on that side of the room, he was busy talking with other people.

Is that a hypo BRB

Indeed, it is! I wanted it very, very much.

Awesome! I love Don Soderberg! I had to shake his hand, since I've got so many lovely babies from him. There was also several I wanted to snatch up from Rob (Bayou).

Thank you so much! I took my dSLR in hopes of getting better pictures than if I took my P&S. I think they came out pretty good. I just wish I hadn't been distracted so, and had taken more!!!

Oh why there's no super big cool reptile shows like that one here in utah :(

I'm sorry! I don't know if it's considered a "super big cool" show, but there's one that takes place in Salt Lake City... the Wasatch Reptile Expo?

The first frog pic is awesome! the 3rd frog pic looks like ET lol

Yes! I wish I had gotten that cute little Red-eyed tree frog. It was the first booth we went to and probably never made it back that way, lol.

Wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing! What did you get at the show?

Thank you! Hmm... I got a Flame Crested Gecko and a Ghost Stripe (possibly Dilute Anery Stripe) corn snake. :}

'That's what I was wanting to know also! Love the pics from the show, but we need to see pics of your new pickups!

Lol, thanks! I will post the pictures I took of the Crestie soon and the corn soon after that.

I was there, too! Picked up a Blizzard from John Finsterwald, who was at Don's booth, then spotted a lovely fluorescent male that I had to have! I'll post pics when I get home to Austin. Wish I'd had more time/money/room, there were some great animals there!

Great pics. Like stated above, very quality photos of the show. I love the animals you took pictures of, but those Coral Snows (I believe) are just spectacular. Depending on the price, I certainly would have wanted to get one.

Cant wait to see photos of your pick-ups :)!

And yes, those Snows were amazing! If red eyes didn't give me the creeps, and if they were for sale, I might've bought one or two. They were at Don Soderberg's table.

Also, posted a few pictures of my Crestie baby, one of the pick-ups! :}
