I just watched this show On Demand under PBS and I was expecting to get another bashing like most shows like this give on the reptile community but to my surprise it was actually a good show. They brought up REAL facts, the REAL problems, and DIDN'T bash the reptile community like "Monster Quest" and stuff. It didn't even bring up the whole "pythons taking over DC" trash and stated things like these snakes DO have predators like large gators and as babies have all sorts of predators. They even had footage of pythons being attacked by gators, king snakes, and racoons. At the same time though they said how these pythons are a real threat to endangered species and stuff. Most importantly of all they blamed Hurricane Andrew for the vast majority of the pythons. They also talked about other invasive species and brought up the point that not all non-natives are bad for the enviroment while others are. In all I thing it was a good show and definately not one sides like every other show. I really wish most programs where like this, I feel it would take a lot of pressure off our community.
Heres a clip from youtube that has to do with the program but isn't in the actual show.
