Neat anery

This little anery has the greatest black saddle borders I have ever seen on an anery. Like having an Okeetee version of an anery. The saddles all down the lower part of her tail are just entirely black spots with no inside coloration. Her body color is also getting more and more black speckling instead of the gray. Wouldn't that be cool if she turned out to be an almost all black snake, hey?

She was a non eater from last year and although an eater now, she only recently began eating every meal offered. So, now I am hoping to see some huge growth spurt in the next couple months.

She is also extrememly laid back, always has been. When I picked her up she wrapped around my hand and just staid there with her head resting on her body for a good 20 minutes and flicked her tongue. Couldn't ask for a more abliging photo subject. Then I put her into her container and she gobbled up her food like a good girl. :)

I really like this snake. Her name is Special K.

One more pic of her. I had to add this pic of her neat color on her side just behind her head.

She's one cool-looking anery. My early '05 has none of that black speckling in the ground color. I hope it intensifies in yours. :)
