hi i have caught a wild corn and i am trying to identify the sex ???? i have been told before that u could make an educated decision !!!! and have also been told that if its tail, after its back end gets thin quickly it is a female is that true ???? and also if it doesnt taper very sharply that it is a male !!!!!!
 
Yes, generally a female's tail tapers quickly right after the vent and a male's tail doesn't. But remember, not every snake will follow this rule...some will try to fool you.
