When you create a post, about halfway down the screen there is a spot that says "manage attachments". You can add pictures to your post that way.
OR
You can put them up on a website like photobucket or any other image host and then put the url for the picture inside image tags like this:

EDIT: If you want to play around with it until you figure it out, try creating a new thread down in the test area (at the bottom of the forum homepage). If you need anymore help, I or someone else could surely help you out there.
