So for now I have a baby corn and shes in a 10 gallon tank. I was wondering what size tank I should get next. Seeing as its the last tank I wanna buy. What size should I get. I was thinking something like 135 gallon. I know thtas kinda big for a baby but as I said it the last one I wanna buy. The dimention of the tank I wanna get is 72x18x25. And thats LxWxH. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A 20 long should be big enough for most adults corns as a minimum. A 55 gallon would be more than big enough. You may lose them altogether in a 135 gallon! :)

That seems huge! A 40 breeder would be excellent for an adult cornsnake! Plus you can buy a Critter Cage 40 with a sliding locking lid that is very secure. With a giant tank you'd have to make a custom lid and that could lead to problems.

I have a 40 gallon and it's plenty of room for an adult. You might think the bigger the better. But even adults like to feel secure and don't really like wide open spaces. So if you did use a huge tank like what you want you would have to put a ton of hides and plants for the snake to feel safe in it.

You can get the big tank and put a divider in it. That way you can get another snake. ;) I have two tanks like that but I do agree that a tank that big would be way to big especially for a baby.

I have a 40 gallon I am switching our adult corn into and it's ENORMOUS. I think it will be palatial for him. Anything much bigger would be a huge headache to clean and maintain I think.

Thanks for the advice. I kno that the 135 was huge. But I was thinking if I do get one that big I was gonna divide it. Cause I really want another one and I know better then to cohab. Some of the threads on here have taught me not to. Lol certain suprises can happen..We

Ok so instead of starting a new thread I jus figured I would ask on here cuz I'm still asking about a tank. I was think about getting either a 70 or 90 gallon tank but I want one that I can split into two and still have plenty of room for both my snakes. By the time I get the tank my first one will prob be 7mths old or so then I wanna get another baby. So two questions first does that would like a big enough take for both once they r both full grown? And second where is the best place to get a tank like that?

Yes it would and I would check craigslist. You will probably find one pretty cheap on there. It will probably need clean up but that is the price you pay. ha ha
