thanks for bearing with me guys any info will help :)

Well, for the light fixture if you're looking for a tube light they aren't exactly cheap, you need a special kind of adapter for them

something like that. You'd also want a fluorescent bulb to go with it

These are the aquarium version which I believe don't provide any UVB. If you are buying from a store nearby and they have the UVB ones for bearded dragons or something, go for the 2.0 UVB at the highest, snakes don't need UVB.

As far as basking lamp, snakes don't need one, and if anything they're ore danger than they're worth, snakes can climb anywhere pretty much, if you have a heating bulb, odds are the snake will climb up and burn itself at some point. The heat mat should be enough.

If you get a heat mat remember to get a thermostat to run it on so it doesn't get too hot

I'm hoping this answers most things, I say that because I'm having a hard time understanding all parts of the questions (its like 2am atm)

Corns don't need a basking light as long as they have a controlled heat source. Although they sometimes take advantage of a hot spot, they mainly shy away from bright lights. You could see yours out and about more without it.

For ambient lighting just go pick up some under cabinet lights at walmart. They're like $8.. You don't need a basking light for corns, they'll be just fine with the UTH. UTHs are recommended more for colder climates too, so in a cooler room this is what I recommend.

Under Tank Heater. There's really two main types i've seen

heat mats

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ProRep-Pr...nake-Lizard-Tanks-/170829770490#ht_500wt_1031

and ceramic UTH I've seen once or twice before, but can no longer find. They were insanely expensive and far too hot anyway.

Also if you ever see something like a hot rock, or a heated cave and think its a good idea "DON'T BUY ONE" the things are dangerous, the amount of snakes who'll curl up atop one of those rocks overheat and then die is just insane, although they may have pics of snakes on them they aren't made for snakes, they're more suited to lizards or desert species.
