Does it mess with a snake's psyche to have his heat moved from one side of the tank to another?![]()
Do snakes have sense of direction? :sidestep:

 Exactly! I'll have to put a tiny couch in there for his therapy!"I could swear that near this log used to be pretty warm and cozy before!"
:roflmao:
LOL! You crack me up, Sue...you're just delightful!
Cello tape....gotcha! I call it packing tape. *checks label* Ahhhh, it's called Scotch Storage Tape!![]()
Ahh, but the caveat, there are numerous types of "scotch" tape. Someone might mistake it for gift wrapping tape.I'll try to remember to say scotch tape in future
So, if you don't attach the heat mats to the bottoms of the tubs what do you attach them too???
No, you DO attach them to the bottom, Jenstar. But unlike some, the zoo med for instance, they have an adhesive on them that sticks to the bin or the tank. I've not personally tried to remove these, but I've read and the instructions say that you can destroy the wiring in the mat trying to pull them off. With the type mentioned here, you use tape to place it where you want it, and then you can move them if necessary.

Probably the "smarterest" people like Brent, Wade and Nanci knew exactly what you meant! ;D
I do believe I've totally hijacked my own thread.
Do snakes have sense of direction?
Considering the fact that a snake that has escaped will go right back to the spot in the cage they got out of before . . . I'd say yes, they do have a sense of direction AND memory."I could swear that near this log used to be pretty warm and cozy before!"
