New Arrival Pied Male

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
Just couldn't resist picking up one of the Pied males John has available. He arrived today safe and sound and of course I snapped a few pics.

So handsome!

A closer look at some of his pied spots

And those eyes!! :flames:

One last shot that shows how RED he is.

Any name suggestions are welcome! This is probably one of the first snakes I've purchased that I didn't name before it was here. ;)

Thanks again John!! As always, it's a pleasure doing business with you.

Thanks guys!!

Quick update on this guy. Looks like he's a great feeder!!

This was a few days ago. All digested and comfy at this point.

Also, think I'm going to name him Rhaegar. Yes, after Rhaegar Targaryen, the prince of Dragonstone. A Game of Thrones reference. :grin01:

Anyway, here he is!

Settling in quite nicely if I do say so myself. Can't thank you enough John!

Do you have any updated pics of this beauty??
Just curious, as I am deeply into research on a new corn, and I have chosen to get a pied female!
I want a high expression, but I think medium expression is really nice, too.
I just wanted to kind of see how their colors and the pied portion developed as they shed and got older.
Your baby is beautiful, by the way.

Unfortunately this little one escaped.

John F (GREAT GUY!!) replaced him with an AMAZING substitute. Here's a picture of an adult Hypo pied. I don't have comparison baby pictures unfortunately, but you can see what Pieds look like as adults kind of vs. as a hatchling.

Gorgeous snake! His pied snakes are absolutely stunning! Congratulations and I am sorry to here about the escape of the other little guy. That must be really hard.

For anyone who really wants an awesome pied it looks like John Finsterwald just hatched out some MORE THAN AMAZING Hypo Pieds. Go check them and the rest of his snakes out. He's an amazing guy.

Ya it's crappy. He escaped awhile back and I still sometimes hope to see him at some point. Unfortunately it's one of those things that can happen. Corns are amazing escape artists. If he'd been a little older I would be more optimistic, but I've never recovered a hatchling this small that escaped. It does suck, but thankfully the breeder I chose to work with on this particular purchase (John F) is a more than outstanding guy and replaced him with a snake that is more valuable and much much more established than the one that escaped.
