New Babies are Home!

Just wanted to say the babies are home and settling in just fine. My boyfriend went with a pastel motley that is just a beauty. The circles on it (not sexed yet) are almost hurricane perfect. And talk about just as calm and sweet as can be. We will be trying to feed it on Sunday, when we will be home all day to see how it goes.
My baby is an albino okeetee. About twice the size of Jimmies but a beauty also. I actually picked this one because it was a bit bigger so I know it's eating and is getting ready to shed. It's settling in and I am really leaving it to settle. I want to hold them so badly, but we are trying to be good parents..LOL. I quick question though.. I know most corns will not eat when they are gettting ready to shed. My baby is very plainly going to shed within a week but they fed him the day we got them. I could see the bump. To me that says I have a good eater...what do you all think? I will post pics twhen I take them. Thanks again for everyones help.

I would calmly wait till your corn has shed skin. Certainly when it has eaten the day before you bougt it. Snakes can do a while without food; a week or so is no problem for a healthy, well-fed snake.

Yes I wouldnt doubt that a good size snake is a good feeder... Most snakes dont eat before they shed (at least mine dont) but I do have a few that will eat even when they are in their clouded eye phase! I guess it really all depends on the snake! Looks like you guys picked out some really really nice snakes! Congrats
