new bp feeding question

I know this is a corn snakes forum but i had a question about my new bp. I picked him up from the breeder yesterday and he was due to eat today. The breeder told me to actually leave him be for a week and to feed him then.

Is he going to be super aggressive due to not being handled for that long and is it OK to leave a baby bp without food for that long?

My fear is that he will be very hungry and that not being used to being handled will turn him.

How long do I need to wait before I can handle him?

ball pythons stress out when handled too much and when they stress they don't eat. most ball pythons are not aggressive, i have never personally seen an aggressive one, but there are people that will sear by it. so over all, he should be fine if left along for a week or how ever long you leave him alone for.
