New corn snake owner

I am new to raising corn snakes. I use to breed bearded dragons for about 6 yrs but needed to get rid of them, now we are trying corn snakes. we have been caring for our daughters corn snake for about 5 months n have fattened her up. when she dropped her off she seemed so small, but now she is very happy n healthy. we have 4 baby corns at the present time & one that is missing in action.
I have a few questions.
1) is plantation soil safe for corn snakes, what problems might arise if any, I know aspen is safe but I really like the look of the plantation soil.
2) are there any tricks to finding a missing baby corn, it has been missing for about a month & I am really worried that it might have died from not eating in so long.
3) I will post pic's later & I am wondering if the experts could tell me what kind of corns they are: 1 is suppose to be an albino ( he has red eyes but is also red in color..
4) what type of feeding schedule should I have these guys on, the two that I just got where being feed 1 fuzzy every 2 weeks, our other little ones have been getting 1 pinky every 5 days, one of them was being fed 3 pinky's at once every 5 -7 days but I reduced that as I had read it was to much at once.
any information would be greatly helpful thanks

1. I don't know about plantation soil but if you like the soil look ecoearth is good, made from coconut fibers
2. Going to have to basically rip apart the house, they can get everywhere, including in the walls. Water is a concern so check areas where it would be drawn to for a drink, under kitchen sink, bathroom, damp basement areas etc
3. Albino, aka amelanistic, are usually red with different patterns depending on breeding. Pics will help
4. Need to know how much they weigh to be sure, but my youngsters get fed 1x per week, pinkies or fuzzies depending on size, sometimes 2 of those
5. Welcome to the group.

1. If you mean the shredded coconut stuff (also known as coco coir) that's sold as plantation soil, yes, that's fine.

2. Check anywhere warm and really cramped, like under a fridge, behind the dryer, search all along walls and in closets. You can set out tape traps as well. Just lay a length of tape (sticky side up) against the wall all over the house. Check the traps every morning and night and if you do catch your little one, use vegetable oil to get them free. Just pour it all over and gently remove the snake from the tape.

3. Could be an amel, could be a bloodred, we'd have to see pictures.

4. Corn snakes are fed based on weight, here is a good feeding plan.

-When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (20-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+)

this is a much better pic of the last snake
(told he was red albino) if anyone know please let me know

Yep, red eyes means amel. :) The first pic just must be too dark. If the first two snakes are housed together, I would separate ASAP.

sorry the male red albino is not my pic, it was the one the girl I bought the snakes from sent me. I have come to find out it is not the snake she sold me. the pic below it is the actual snake I have. he looks like it might even be a she not a he like I was told. I am sorry for posting the pic. I didn't mean to use someone else s pic.
