Hi! I found out about this site when I was posting in a thread about Doc Walker and thought I'd come on over and say hi!
We have alot of snakes at our house, as well as a few other pets. :) And kids! The kids love helping with the snakes. :)

Hello welcome to the forum this is a really cool site alot of good advise so come on in and join us. :)

Thanks. :)

My very first snake was a corn snake. :) I used to be scared of every snake out there, but when we went to a pet store my husband made me hold a corn snake. That snake came home with us that day and since then I am only scared of the really big ones. But the corns will always be special to me because of my first one.
Out of all ours the corns are my favorites, and we have a few different ones besides corns.

Thanks. :)

Same with me I was so scared of snakes that I would start to think I was having a heart attack loll. But 9 years ago that all change. I went to my very first reptile show with this girl I use to know and she was holding a fully grown corn snake. And it was a female and she said it is now or never so I held her and from thir on I was inlove with snakes loll. I have one corn snake a male still eating baby mice tomorrow I will be getting my 2 corn snake. :)

I have 13 corn snakes now. :) and ball pythons, a pair of anery kenyan sand boas, a pair of normal sand boas,a columbian red tail, a garter snake...My hubby wants some boas but I REALLY am not sure about that!! I was told that the ones he wants are just color morphs of the columbian red tail...But still...

My favorite one of my corns is an adult snow motley girl. :) My pearl bloodred girl is a close second.

My kids are always wanting to hold the garter snake. and my daughter loves it because it only eats earthworms, and will NOT touch mice. :) My daughter has her own pair of balls. she wants her own collection. lol

My family says I'm a knowledge sponge. lol I read something and it's there forever even though I might not remember where I read it. I'll have to go check out that site. :) We only have one garter snake right now, a baby one, but maybe before long...

I have a couple of corns that only eat mice every other week. They're picky, and want chicken pieces the rest of the time!
