Hey, Mopar! Welcome! Nice collection you've got there... OOOOHhhh, a Grey Band... always loved those!!!

As for the sexing/husbandry thing. There's a great sticky to read at the top of that section (Husbandry & Basic Care). You'll find lots there and if there are any particulars, you can always ask and someone will be able to answer. It was written by people much more knowlegeable than I, so rather than rewrite everything, I'll point you there!

Good to have you aboard!

Some pics because a psot without pics is really a tease.

nice collection! i dont know the answer to your questions. but the corn snake looks like a anery type A to me..

Never new there was this much info on corns and so many different ones. This place has a ton of good info.

Well I found a snake that has been lost over a year. It was lost inside the house last June. I found this snake out by my shed. I think it is the same snake hard to tell as the snake was only 9 months old when I got it and his companion corn is almost double his size(they were both the same size). He is very untame now. Could this be the same snake I lost or just a random corn snake I found in my yard(only have seen 1 juvenile milk snake in the 9 years I've been here). My other snake was not hibernated and fed regularily. I live at the corner of MA, RI, & CT.

The color is about right for the snake but it was over a year ago and I had only had him about 7 months before we lost him and don't have a picture to compare him to

Hey, welcome to the forums. I really think you've found a milk snake, it doesn't look like a corn to me. The "Y" on its head looks like a few I've found up here.

Hello and welcome! Nice looking snakes, all of them.
The one you found is definitely an Eastern Milk Snake Lampropeltis triangulum.

Hey & welcome to the forum! And I agree with Jen & Alan. I think you found yourself and Eastern Milk Snake. I am from Ma too.

Welcome! I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that could sex the snakes for you but if you go to the New England Herp Society's page they might know who is close to you that could help. There is someone in Worcester that sells mice and red tail boas that might be able to sex them for you.

I'm in Eastern MA on the North Shore so if you are out this way I could help!
