Imagine that. I'm new here. Anyway, I'm also relatively new to keeping snakes. It's freakin awesome! I started with a snow corn snake (Hecate) and talked my lovely wife into enjoying her (unsexed, but we like to think of her as a her for now) about as much as I do. For 13 years I have been working on her to let me get a snake, and now the bug may have bitten her also. So much, in fact, that she and I took in a wonderful 7 y/o, almost 6ft long, female dumeril's boa who's name is Gretel. Then she found a lovely anery corn snake (apparently a hatchling we named Loki) that she fell in love with. I enjoy taking care of our snakes, and have discovered my children are also great with them (they're still not too sure about our fat dum, but they're warming up to her). Any how, I've read a great deal here and around on other forums, and continue to learn a great deal. I Even discovered there may be a couple of breeders of fine repute in my own home state of North Dakota, USA. I really do appreciate how this site has led me to discover many other breeders as well, and appreciate the many other things this site has led me to discover and learn. Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me, and I hope to have positive interactions with some of ya'll in the future. :grin01:

As a brand new and yet already addicted snake owner, let me say "WELCOME TO THE FORUM"! :) My husband was deathly afraid of snakes, but now will actually hold ours! :dancer: He SAYS I have to stop at two, but I give that a short time until I find myself a nice motley sunglow female... Then we are GOING to have three! LOL

Welcome Welcome! I'm new as well and can already say there are a lot of nice people here :D I bet your scaled babies are simply gorgeous :) you must post pictures sometime. I hope you enjoy all the craziness and have a good experience here.

Howdy and Welcome! Sounds like you're well on your way to being just as much as an addict as the rest of us!
