I just ordered some new hides and and stuff for the new vivs, snakes ate monday, tess going to shed soon, they are not interested in the new hides, exoterra med caves, but they are hiding in the new vines i put in. Yes they are cohabbing, temporary. Will be in their own vivs very soon. Is this behaviour okay?

They'll stay where they feel most secure and where they're the correct temperature. So as long as you have the new hides and vines arranged across different temp gradients and they have the choice - yes, they're fine and the vines just suit their needs more at the moment.

If the hides are very much bigger than they are, then they might need to grow on a bit before they feel secure in them. They seem to like wedging themselves into spaces and feeling the sides of a hide against them a little.

It's cool that you're providing vines for them. Some corns really like to climb. Some like to burrow. Some like to swim. They're all individuals, just like you and me. As long as they have choices, they'll go where they feel safe and find the temps they need. It's also good that you're going to separate them. Cohabbing can seem to be fine - then you suddenly have only one snake.
