New Little Lavender Boy

I went to the Midwest Reptile Show in Indianapolis this past weekend and walked out with this little guy. I'm thinking about naming him Jake, but I'm not 100% on that name yet. Jack is also a possibility. I'm usually a bit more creative on naming my animals, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.

He has already eaten a F/T pinkie for me, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. He is extremely well tempered and I can't wait to see what he ends up looking like all grown up!

Sorry about the quality of the image. The picture was taken on my phone as that was the only camera that I had at the time.

Sweet! He is beautiful :) I love lavenders. If I wasn't pretty much at my limit for corns I would be picking one up for sure :D Congrats!

P.S. I like Jake for him too :)

Oooh, he's got blue eyes and ruby pupils!!

Oh yes! It really took me back when I first saw them. Can't say I was really expecting them, but then again, I didn't exactly look up all of the characteristics of the lavenders. They also seem more brownish-red, but I think it depends on what kind of light you're looking at them in.

Aaawww, cute looking Lavender. I have one that looks just like that, but is about a year and a couple months old right now.

I definitely could! I suppose the thought hadn't crossed my mind. I don't have any experience with lavenders, so it would be interesting to me, at least, to see how he changes.

i think it would make a nice progression thread. which reminds me i havent updated twister's in like 2 months lol

so i've heard. which was one of the reasons i was hoping this would become a progression thread. also, he's a cute little guy lol
