I've always been intrigued with blood pythons too, but I doubt I'll ever get one. I think that if I got one, it would just get too big for me to handle and feed adequately. Not to mention that a full grown one could easily devour my dog if it would happen to get loose.

Picked him up..what with, a crane? Never mind it eating the dog Amanda, I'd be scared it would eat me! Sorry, he's beautiful, just scares the bejesus out of me :)

that is very kool ,bloods dont get any longer than corns some alot shorter but they do get about as fat around as a gallon milk carton! one of the first snakes I saw was a adult female sumatrian blood python she was about 3and a half feet long and fatter than a soft ball and she was tomato red,they are really impressive, nice snake!
