Ha ha now that we have a boa. We went out to by a rat. and sadly the only ones they have are young and all males. So now I have a male rat. named Skinny lol. I love him. My b/f came home with a live lab white rat to feed to our boa and he ate it all no problem. So we went back and have a brownish/black one. Sooner or later I'll have to go buy a female for Skinny. and have Rat babies.
 
How sad....

One of the best pets I EVER had was a white lab rat....smarter than most dogs I know.

If it were me, I would just get Skinny a male friend (rats are social and can go psychotic if left alone) and order frozen in bulk. No fuss, no muss, and you would have 2 great pets.
 
The rats I used to have would love to swim in the sink :D

They do make great pets & the are a lot cleaner than most other rodents.
 
Well we've already fed off the white lab rat and as food buying frozen food. thats why i breed them to be feeders. Skinny is a sweet heart already. likes to sit in my hand hidden under a fold of my sweater and cleaning my hand lol. tickles but is so cute.
