New snake opening its mouth.

Within about 10mins my very new cornsnake(got it today) opened its mouth very wide then closed it and then did it again. then it slithered aroud the cage and got a drink of water. It hasn't opened its mouth since. do I have anything to worry about? \

by the way the cage is 75 on coldside and 81 on hot side.
 
Nothing to worry about, it is just resetting it's jaw or yawning (or laughing at you.. nose pressed to the glass), your temps are OK, it is totally normal behavour , enjoy your new pal.
 
Congrats on the new snake! I cant wait until tomorrow, I am going to get my ghost corn :crazy02: Post some pics if you can when you get a chance.
 
it's name is zero and it's a motley. I can't take any pictures because my digital camera is unavailable.
